Slavery and oppression of people either physically or psychologically is wrong and should be punished.
Slavery is the involuntary servitude of one or more people to another person or society such that the extent of the control is over the entire life and liberties of the person(s). It does not include people rightly imprisoned for crimes against a society or another person. Enslavement does by its nature include oppressing the enslaved, and continues on from their to be ultimate control over their lives.
Oppression of another person is the forcing of another person(s) to engage regularly in actions which they would not of their own volition engage in, but not to the extent that their entire lives and liberties are controlled. This does not include actions taken when raising children or minor societal/family activities that involve uncomfortable or unwanted situations.
Slavery can be met with lethal force or any other societal punishments. Oppression should be met with less than lethal force, but including imprisonment and other societal punishments.
